Quick impressions of the Motorola Droid

I recently picked up a Motorola Droid as a gadget to enjoy and to replace my current Blackberry Curve mobile phone. This is just a brief impression of the Droid as I have been playing with it for a couple of days.

The pros of the phone is it is very PC-user friendly. What I mean is that the layout is quite normal for someone that uses a PC as what is defined as a PC (Personal Computer). I did not have to read the manual to figure out the way to use the phone, it just clicked. The Droid has a great screen with great touch sensibility. Build quality is top notch and feels sturdy.

There are some minor issues that I have with the phone. First off I consider that I have ‘small’ hands and both the touch screen keyboard and the slide out keyboard are a little too small. The keyboard keys are quite flat but overall I don’t really have a good conclusion due to the fact that I rarely use it.

I haven’t actually made a phone call on the phone so I’ll leave that out for later. Either way so far I am enjoying it like a five year old with candy.
